Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Tuus News application and website (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Tuus Media Inc. ("we," "our," or "us"). By using Tuus News, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Tuus News. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@tuusnews.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service beyond normal app usage.
• Interfere with the operation of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Share your account credentials with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions.
• Redistribute, republish, or commercially exploit our AI-generated summaries without written permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

• Pricing — Tuus News is available as a subscription at $7.99/month or $59.99/year.
• Auto-renewal — subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Payment processing — all payments are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not process payments directly.
• Cancellation — you can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store or Play Store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access until then.
• Refunds — refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies. We cannot issue refunds directly.
• Price changes — we may adjust pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect.

5. Content and Accuracy

Tuus News uses artificial intelligence to summarize articles from third-party news sources. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated summaries are produced algorithmically and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.
• Summaries are not a substitute for reading original source articles for critical decisions.
• We do not endorse, verify, or guarantee the accuracy of any source article. The original publishers are responsible for their content.
• Stock and financial data is provided for informational purposes only and should not be considered investment advice.

6. Intellectual Property

• Our content — the AI-generated summaries, app design, code, and branding are the property of Tuus Media Inc. and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
• Source articles — original articles belong to their respective publishers. We link to sources and do not claim ownership of third-party content.
• Your content — any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us to improve the Service without obligation to you.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tuus Media Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

• Decisions made based on information provided by the Service.
• Service interruptions, errors, or data loss.
• Unauthorized access to your account.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Modifications to the Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes that affect your subscription.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
